Nordikids practices begin
- Nordikids will begin weekly practice/meetings and continue until May. All Children between age 3 and 20 may participate if they and/or their parents have an interest in Nordic culture and traditions.

NORDIC FAIRE
- A culture festival will take place with craft artisans from many of the Scandinavian countries. Come see the needle artisans from Norway, Woodcarvers from Norway, and singers and dancers of Nordikids to entertain throughout the day!
Admission : $5
Ethnic specialty foods will be available for purchase (Swedish pancakes, Open faced sandwiches, cookies and pastries)

Chellberg Farm/Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore
- This wonderful taste of a true Scandinavian Midsummer is created in the woods of the Chellberg homestead. Signs on I-80/94 in Chesterton, Indiana lead the way to the homestead site. There will be authentic Swedish music with fiddle and accordian. Dancing around the Maypole, children singing and dancing. Entrance is free. Bring a picnic and come enjoy the day. Nordikids will take part in the performance and all are welcome.
